Course aim

This course builds on previous knowledge of fundamentals of the German language. It focuses on the interactive use of the language in practical situations

Prior knowledge:

Knowledge of the fundamentals of the German language

 

This course covers parts of the following topics:

·       The workplace

·       Dealing with government departments

·       Body and Health

·       Getting around in the city

·       Customers Service

·       Clothing, fashion

·       Parties and Events

 

 

Learning Outcomes:

 

 

 

 

On completion of the course you will have learned about how to

 

·       verbally describe your activities during the past week

·       verbally interact with other students

·       pronounce, translate and discuss topical newspaper articles

·       write, express and discuss issues of interest

·       expand on your grammar
